Pest Management Training Assessment Services is a Brisbane based organisation which was established in 1997.

Trainers and assessors hold Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and either Certificate III in Asset Maintenance (Pest Management—Technical) or Certificate IV in Asset Maintenance (Pest Management) and the relevant competency units to obtain a commercial operator’s licence for ground distribution of herbicides.  They have all had many years of hands on experience in the pest management industry.

We provide training and assessing in compliance with the National Training Packages.  These allow candidates to:

   Obtain competence for pest management licensing

   Obtain competence in all aspects of pest management, including timber pests and fumigation

   Obtain recognition of prior learning in all aspects of pest management, including timber pests and fumigation

   Obtain competence for a commercial operator’s licence under the Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control (ACDC) Act 1966

We can provide tailor-made packages to suit the requirements of both individuals and groups.

We offer continuing professional development in the form of hands on workshops, with both theory and practical assessment in compliance with the National Training Package.

Training and assessing is carried out in association with Open Learning Institute of TAFE (Queensland).
